Tim Parker is a senior consulting professional who combines broad consulting experience with marketing and general management experience. Tim has more than 15 years experience in the sales, marketing and delivery of consulting services. Tim was previously a vice president at Cadence Design Systems where he was responsible for growing the business of providing electronics design solutions for European high tech companies. Prior to Cadence, Tim was a vice president of CSC Computer Sciences in the UK, delivering technology and consulting solutions to large European companies. Before that, Tim was a vice president with CSC Index, delivering consulting and change management solutions to large companies worldwide.
Tim has designed and led many marketing programs; with CSC Index Tim led the expansion of the company’s fledgling business reengineering practice into Europe. With CSC , he established and grew the company’s management consulting business in the UK, which generated hundreds of millions in revenue for CSC’s systems integration business. He has also designed and led several successful online marketing programs for the leisure industry.
Tim’s extensive consulting work has included devising an operating model for the first “Europeanization” of a European multinational, developing e-business strategies for major companies grappling with new technologies, and IT strategies for auto and consumer goods manufacturing companies. At The Bloom Group, Tim leads programs to develop The Bloom Group’s own points of view in areas including online marketing; he writes and presents on these topics. He also leads programs to help clients develop their points of view in areas such as IT-integrated manufacturing, drug development and post-merger integration.
Tim earned his undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University in England and graduated with an MBA from London Business School and MIT Sloan School.
