This presentation was given by Tim Parker at a meeting of the Association of Management Consulting Firms in New York in March 2010.
It explains how the rules for marketing leading-edge content have changed and draws on multiple sources to show why. Although the underlying drivers have largely been technological (and they are explained), Tim's presentation focuses on how buyers of professional services and other high-cost offerings (e.g., IT) have changed the way they obtain thought leadership content. He then explains what marketers must do to get their content read by target customers.
